]]><![CDATA[Robotics Competition 2025]]>Tue, 02 Dec 2025 18:36:34 GMThttps://www.nfepto.com/news/robotics-competition-2025From Robotics Team Leader, Michael Irving: The Regal Seaglettes had a great competition in Newton, MA on Saturday. The team had five robot matches and one 30 minute judging session that included our Innovation Project presentation. There were 24 other teams competing. We were very excited (and a little stunned) when we received the Innovation Project Award - 2nd Place. Not bad for our first competition!! We finished 18th after our 5 Robotics matches with a high score of 160 pts.

Do líder da equipe de robótica, Michael Irving: A equipe Regal Seaglettes teve uma ótima participação na competição em Newton, MA, no sábado. A equipe participou de cinco partidas de robótica e uma sessão de avaliação de 30 minutos que incluiu a apresentação do nosso Projeto de Inovação. Havia outras 24 equipes competindo. Ficamos muito animados (e um pouco surpresos) quando recebemos o Prêmio de Projeto de Inovação - 2º lugar. Nada mal para a nossa primeira competição!! Terminamos em 18º lugar após as nossas 5 partidas de robótica, com uma pontuação máxima de 160 pontos. O sábado foi um ótimo dia para todos. Obrigado por todo o apoio. Reach Out and Read – NFE PTO Fall Reading Program
November 10th-14th
November 17th-21st
Let’s encourage our kids to read, read, read this month! 
  • If they read a book or have a book read to them by you (or if older kids read a chapter of a book), have your student fill out a ticket (see below) or on a piece of regular paper if it is easier.
  • Have your student bring their completed tickets to school. There will be a container for each grade in the lobby.
  • Tickets will be drawn at the end of each week and each ticket will win a prize!
    • To be in the 11/14th prize drawing, turn in slips by Friday morning, 11/14.
    • To be in the 11/21st prize drawing, turn in slips by Friday morning, 11/21.
      • Students may participate both weeks.
